| I woke up early and got my back and neck adjusted. That feels good! Had breakfast with the kids. took the kids to a pow wow. we also stopped by a huge asian grocery store. love that place. their book store is probably the largest on the west coast. afterward we went to an outdoor cinema. everyone piles into a parking lot with stuff to sit on. One of the buildings is painted white. they project a movie on the side of the building, with big speakers for sound. tonight we had 2 movies. a craptastic black and white film from mexico circa 1950, with a budget of 300 pesos; and Army of Darkness starring Bruce Campbell. The craptastic film had no soundtrack (they cut it). instead, comedians took character parts and ad libbed the movie. It was very funny. Army of Darkness is always funny. all in all I had a good day. tomorrow is bite of seattle (again). ovehyped collection of local eateries gathering to sell food to thousands of people. Then it's the seattle bon odori fest. sort of a japanese bon voyage to the dead. they dance and do fun stuff. afterward it's concert time! the vamps (japanese) are playing. I'd seriously like to go to a pier party tonight. it's in an antique boat museum. well, a second stage is on the boardwalk itself. But I have to hit the sack. I'm meeting someone (yet again from ANOTHER website, i.e. this place sucks) at 9am. |
