I was very worried about my job. Just as an aside, negative feelings mean to me: Take Action. If I feel something negative it means I need to Do Something. Not avoid things. Not ignore things. DO SOMETHING. Ahem. Every 2 years, or sooner, since I graduated from college it has been one job after another. I have great skills and a great education. But the market chews up people and companies and spits em out. Anyhow, I have finally landed a permanent job. And right after the 2 year mark- we get a new boss.

What does this mean? well, my job might become redundant- or a raise. So I was extremely worried that I might not impress the new boss and get the promotion and raise. Options? be chicken and stay in my job and probably get redundanated. I made a new word just for this website. aintchuuz lucky. Option 2, look for a new job. uh no. Option 3- go big or go home. So I went big. I stepped up to the challenge. I took on the new role.

I had to restructure how I did my tasks and organized my thinking and my feelings. That last part is a bit tricky but I am getting a handle on it. I can't afford distractions anymore. I can't afford not doing the tasks I don't like. I have to develop more relationships with coworkers- and like it. I have to go from No Time Structure to Very Organized In Time. and Like it. My new position is very challenging and I think I am doing an excellent job at the transition. It's a bit like going to school. You can't learn new and exciting stuff, grow mentally and emotionally, by doing the same old crap and sitting on your ass not making changes. Does that make sense? This is how I approach relationships too. I am not the one for you if you like to warm the couch 90% of the time and enjoy being lulled by your routine.  It doesn't mean I never rest, I just love exploring life. And it doesn't have to be complicated. I just don't want stuckin a routine if I can help it.
